well i am biased so i did go with Palmer/McNally 60's Orioles, but if i had to pick without any O's in the mix it would be Koufax/Drysdale 60's Dodgers. although i never seen either of them pitch except old film clips.

you can add Baltimore to that list . From about 85-until recently they totaly neglected thier farm system, instead relying on vets past thier prime(F.A) on offense and a rotation filled with #4and 5 starters. Bedard has been the best prospect we've had since Moose and gregg olsen .

you know as well as i the only reason is more money.with that being said it does keep intrest up. also you can't controll how the teams will play year to year. who knows maybe the west will be saying the same thing about the A.L east next year.

As a young lad growing up in upstate N.Y you are either born a Yankee fan or RedSox fan, until you realize there are other teams out there. Me I am now an O's fan and have been since i was about 9. So yes you guessed it i am a yankee hater , as far as the team goes there are players that i do follow that are currently on the team. These players are Bernie williams , Derek Jeter,Deion Sanders and Mo Rivera. I follow(ed) these guys because i actually got to see them play numerous times at Heritage park when i was younger and before they made it to the show. The feild wasn't so big and niether were ego's . you colud hang on the fence and chat with all the players sort of like cooperstown Double day field. I even went to a game where Ron Guidry made a rehab start which was standing room only in 1983 i believe. the team has since folded, but there is a team that started up a few years ago called the tri city valley cats (houston) in which clemons has a little history also because of his son.i have not been in attendace to any of these games yet but hope to in the near future.
just some memories that i had growing up
