This is scarily looking like the soap operas of the late '80s.(overpaid free agents, bad trades involving prospects, media in-house fighting) God I hope it doesn't go that route. thats what i've been saying, although i refer to it as the tartabul era. sad to say but in the end i think torre is gone . i could also see zito in pinstripes.

welli'm going with Jack Morris and Kirk Gibson. the reason why is back in 84 i went to the HOF game and actually had pretty long conversations with both of them , they both seemed genuine (as far as a 12 yr old could tell )

i loved his demeanor at the plate, he wasn't bigger than the game. He never show boated , if he got hit (which was alot) he just jogged down to first base .

well with my limited coverage of the west coast i always thought that Wally Joyner was a big fan favorite. as for me personally i never liked watching reggie in that uniform for whatever reason. but i did like Don Baylor .

living in new york (upstate) me and all my non yankee fan friends used to rub that trade in my other friends face . we refered to him as Jay the Yankee killer Buhner. it just seemed like everytime they played he was hitting a homerun or throwing out someone.how about the shave your head promo nights .
