I liked Roberto Alomar. I know he wasn't there a real long time but he was a great second baseman.

Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling I'd pick either of them or Luis Gonzalez. Gonzalez has been there for a very long time.

If it's a question of my favorite, it's Buhner. Always liked him, always respected him even when he was killing us. If it's a question of who's the most popular or all-time greatest for the M's, I'd have to go with Edgar Martinez. Quiet leader, consistant hitter. He was a DH out of the fact of his bad knees, not due to fieding problems. I agree I would have chosen Edgar Martinez also. He was always coming up with a big hit and was a great fielder until his knee injuries started.

1- Who has the best pickoff move? Andy Petitte
2- What is the best MLB stadium? I like Yankee Stadium.
3- What stadium would you like to see that haven't yet? I want to go see Camden Yards (I forgot the new name for it).
4- Who is your favorite player NOT on your favorite team? I like to watch David Wright from the Mets.
5- Who is the best announcer/announce team? I haven't heard them all so I couldn't tell you.
6- What catcher calls the best game? Jason Varitek is a good catcher as is Jorge Posada.
7- Who is the worst ump in MLB? I don't know all their names.
8- What (if any) is your favorite minor league team? I like to go watch the Somerset Patriots. They are an independent minor league team that play like 15 minutes from my house.
9- Who is the biggest HOF snub? Pete Rose or Shoeless Joe Jackson
10- What was this year's best mid season/trade deadline trade? I think the best trade was Bobby Abreu because he has so many big hits for the Yankees since coming over.

He is great. I hope he can hit like this in the playoffs.

I voted Koufax and Drysdale because facing either one of them would have been frightening but especially in a best-of-5 game series in the playoffs.

i agree, with rollins in that group that's a nice nucleus. if they find a really good defensive 3rd baseman who hits .270, 20-25 hr, 80 rbi we'd be set. i've been watching phillies for 37yrs and victorrino is the fastest phil i ever seen.(bob dernier included) Maybe C.J. Henry, one of the players the Yankees traded for Abreu, can become a 3B if they want him to play 3B because he was SS in the Yankees farm system. He should be a pretty good infielder in the future. He was a first round draft pick a few years ago and is probably a couple years away for the majors but he can be a good infielder if he can reach the potential the Yankees think he has.

Doesn't mean anything. Hansen can still be good. He has just had one bad year so that doesn't mean anything. They just rushed him up to quickly and he wasn't used to the pressure of a pennant race. It took Scott Proctor three years to get used to pitching in the big leagues.

I like that guy the Yankees have in double A Philip Hughes because he is the Yankees best pitching prospect. I have heard he can be "the next Roger Clemens." I hope he can pan out as the star everyone projects him to be.

Bonds. With a close second to Abreu, who's good, but hardly as good as he's often billed. Abreu is batting .400 as a Yankee. You really can't be overrated if you bat .400.

1 - What infielder has the "softest hands"? Alex Gonzalez of the Red Sox. He is good.
2 - Who turns the best pivot at second base? Mark Loretta or Robinson Cano.
3 - What's the best double play combo in baseball? I like Jeter and Cano but Gonzalez and Loretta are also formidable.
4 - Who has the best overall bullpen? the Kansas City Royals lol just kidding. I like the Angels bullpen because they have Rodriguez, Donnelly, and Shields. That is very difficult to score against.
5 - Who has the ugliest uniforms? I hate the Padres camouflage jersey and their regular jerseys aren't that nice either.
6 - Who "takes plays off" most? I don't understand this question.
7 - What team has the best young talent waiting to mature? The Marlins have a lot of great young talent this year. They can be a force next year if they can get off to a good start.
8 - Who is the "craftiest" pitcher? Mike Mussina or Greg Maddux. They both have very slow off speed pitches with their mediocre fastballs but they can out think the hitter.
9 - Who is the best starting utility player? Mark DeRosa no contest.
10 - Who is most overrated player? Well this year it's Barry Bonds or A.J. Pierzynski(how did he make the All-Star Game).

The runners don't have to advance because the batter was tagged out meaning the force play is taken away. The runners can then retreat to their original base because they don't have to advance to the next base to allow the runner behind them to reach the base. In order to record the double play a tag must be made on the runner because there is no longer a force at the next base.

How is it possible to pick someone other than the Mets. I mean they are the best team in the NL and the only NL team at the same calibur of play as the AL teams.

I say the Yankees because their first three starters have a combined 33 wins. That is more than any other team in MLB including the Twins. That alone should help the Yankees advance deep into the playoffs. Everyone says the Yankees need pitching but not really. They just need Sheffield, Matsui, and Cano to return to the lineup.
