Todays team: MINNESOTA TWINS
i know puckett is the obviuos choice but i like Kent Hrbek. Hrbek had his Major League debut in 1981 and hit a game winning home run in his first major league game. 1982 was his official rookie year and he played well for manager Billy Gardner and was immediately selected as an All-Star. After batting .301 with 23 home runs and 92 RBIs, Hrbek finished second in the American League Rookie of the Year vote, behind Cal Ripken, Jr.

For some reason, when I think of Nolan Ryan, I always think of the Rangers. So he'd be my pick.

For the Twins it's got to be Puckett.

It is selective but these are my favorites, i really like mark grace but i'm going with my man BILL BUCKNER. For his entire career, "Billy Buck" was known as one of the more consistent contact hitters in the major leagues: in 2,517 games, Buckner accumulated 2,715 hits and only 453 strikeouts

People forget how good of a hitter Buckner was, and when he was healthy, was a pretty good fielder as well.

I think Ernie Banks or Sandberg are probably the most popular.

Todays team: PITTSBUGHPIRATES
Phillies respected nemesis, my main man was BILL MADLOCK, but i'm gonna run with KENT TEKULVE. Tekulve was known as a workhorse relief pitcher who led the Major Leagues in appearances 4 times, 3 times appearing in 90 or more games.

Honus Wagner is the all time best player.
Clemente and Stargell were the dominant forces and most popular in thier time.
My favorite would have to be Johnny Ray. I always liked him, and he never got the respect he deserved.

Stargell, a friend of mine is his nephew. Pirates are very popular here so I get to see almost all of their games. PNC is a very nice park.
