I was watching the Yankees game and Farnsworth came in and threw a pitch 100 MPH which is very hard. But then he followed it with a pitch 101 MPH which is just insane since I have never seen anyone throw 101. I have only seen 100.

They were saying the gun at Yankee stadium is out by about 2 mph, but 99mph is still pretty edit good.
Please keep it clean in the general areas. Thank you, Jyrk

Keep A-rod, the phils would have to trade 3/4 the team to pay for him. Charlie Manuel would have to play 1st

I like A-Rod. He is a good hitter and I appreciate everything he does. I think he is having a little bit of a hard time adjusting to New York but when he gets more time playing people will start to cheer for him. I don't boo him every time he gets out. Those people are just idiots and the media plays a big part in that. They always critisize him when he has a bad day but never acknowlegde him when he has a good day like today. 2-for-4 with a single, double and a run scored.

the problem with us fans, you can never live up to the hype. because someone wanted to pay A-Rod $25m per, is not his fault but his talent. he'll be criticize till he has an Oct. like Reggie

I totally agree but I still believe A-Rod can be a great hitter for us.

A-Rod is already a great hitter for NY. He was MVP last year, remember? The adjustment period is well and trully over, he's just going through a rough patch. You can't always justify a player's slump with the "pressure of playing for the Yankees" stuff. Like Jyrk pointed out, Jeter had an AWEFUL slump last year, and Bernie Williams has been hot and cold through the last few years of his career.

That is a valid point, but in five years this will all be a faint memory when A-Rod produces in the playoffs this year (knock on wood)
