I think Rivera proves year in and year out he's the best ever. When the "experts" said he was at the end of his career, he broke the Yankees record for saves in a season. ....then broke it again the next year.
Jo Torre has said repeatedly that Rivera was the MVP of those 4 Championships in 5 years.

besides, is there anything more likley to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, than those opening chords of metallica before Mo makes his appearance.
You can see batter phyically cringe and Torre goes out to make the change and call for his closer.
