I had to make a ruling here. I was looking for Sam Kimber, but I saw on at least one sight it had Fred Toney listed as the first. I assume this is because it was the first after 1900. A lot of baseball records are thought to be official as being after 1900, so I gave full points.

On May 2, 1917, Fred Toney of the Cincinnati Reds and Hippo Vaughn of the Chicago Cubs pitched a hitless, scoreless tie after nine innings – the only time in baseball history that neither team has had a hit in regulation. The Reds got two hits in the top of the tenth inning and scored the winning run. In the bottom of the tenth, Toney retired the side and recorded a ten-inning no-hitter.

Game announcement: I am going away for the holidays, and won't be back until Wednesday at the earliest. Depending on what time I get home, how much crap I have to do, and when I can fit it in, I will post the next update on Wednesday or Thursday.
Merry Christmas, everyone!!

I messed up and didn't type the entire question. I have since modified it, but to keep the game flowing, I decided to give everyone credit for correct answers to the way the question was originally typed by me. Thank you tbrays for pointing it out. He asked me which ones I was looking for. That made me reread the way I posted the question. Then realized that most of you would have been correct with the answers you gave. otherwise only he and ballis would have been correct.
...oh, and welcome back jerdy! Good to see you around again.

Thanks to everyone for participating in another good season. We had a couple of new participants, a few faithful regulars, and a return of an old champion! Congrats to basenoc for the last post win. He was the only one to get every part of the questions correct, and pulled out the 1 point win. I'm glad I didn't make them all 2 points, or I would have had to come up with another tie breaker. I have already begun collecting questions for the next season. It will begin on Friday.
