Rumors: Crede to Yankees for a minor league pitcher. Mets interested in ARod if Wright is willing to move to 1B or OF. Phillies are going to put in a bid for Lowell ChiSox want Rowand back, or may try for Hunter. Braves are also intersed in Hunter
Will anyone make a bid for Willis? Will the fish listen?.

Pettitte declines his option, but leaves the door open to returning to the Yanks. He says he will either return with a new contract or retire.

Eh I doubt that. I say there is a good chance he goes to another team. I get the feeling Pettite was always a Torre guy more than a Yankee guy.
Rumor is that Schilling is close to a one year incentive heavy deal with the Red Sox. While I won't hold my breath on this one. It leaves me with mixed feelings. While I like having him around, and his 2004 postseason effort may be the greatest baseball moment I will ever experience. He is clearly declining and can't contribute the same way he could in the past.

Lowell and Timlin file for free agency as expected.
Brad Lidge and infielder Eric Bruntlett were acquired by the Phillies from Houston in exchange for outfielder Michael Bourn, righthander Geoff Geary and minor league third baseman Mike Costanzo.
Giants re-sign Vizquel
ChiSox resign Uribe.
Braves are offering Glavine a deal.

Phillies must be getting Lowell, Lidge is a good pick-up but i kinda hate to see Bourn go and Costanzo might be a real good 3rd baseman someday.
GOOD RIDDANCE to GEARY!!

Every team in baseball should atleast be looking to see what they can do to make a play on Cabrera. What is he 16? And talented!

Having Cabrerra protecting Howard, he'd see a lot more fastballs. I would feel best with Utley in the three hole. ....of course this is just hypothetical.

Yankees have expressed interest in trading for Miguel Tejada. The problem is, the O's don't like to do trades with the Yanks.
