My vote is for the Twins. Pitching is too good, and Mauer isn't doing bad batting .380 either.

I say the Yankees because their first three starters have a combined 33 wins. That is more than any other team in MLB including the Twins. That alone should help the Yankees advance deep into the playoffs. Everyone says the Yankees need pitching but not really. They just need Sheffield, Matsui, and Cano to return to the lineup.

Exactly. They're in no hurry to sell the farm for a veteral when thet're getting three allstars back. Matsui is progressing faster than anticipated, and should be back mid-August.
