I flipped on the Yankee game tonight in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Sal Fassano was catching, but I had no idea he was on the Yanks. He takes his mask off, and for a split second, and I had a flashback to 1985. I could have sworn that Rick Cerone was catching. Scary since Cerone set the ML record for passed balls in a game while playing with the Yanks in Texas.(I think either Phil or Joe Niekro was pitching, but not exactly sure) He's got the same '70's porno mustache that Cerone sported since he cut off the Foomanchu.

Yeah the Yankees got Fasano in a trade with Philadelphia for single A minor league prospect 2B Hector Made.

Wow your right he does look like him. I wasn't born when he played, I'm only 15 so I didn't know what he looked like.

sal was my pal, sorry to see him go. leiberthal should've been the one to go. can't they see he's washed up, a waste of a roster spot. he does nothing for me and hasn't for years. let the young boys (coste/ruiz) play, at least they have a upside.
