Will 4 time Cy Young winning, 13 gold glove winning, 300 game champion Greg Maddux be traded from the Cubs before deadline? The Brewers have shown interest in Greg, probabally because his brother Mike is pitching coach in Milwaukee.
Who else will be traded before the deadline?

I think Alfonso Soriano, Livan Hernandez, and Bobby Abreu are the most likely to be traded.

It'd be a short fix for the Phils, but why would Maddux want to end his career in the pitchers nightmare?

Abreu will more likely be traded to the Yankees, Mets, or Tigers.

I don't think the Yankees would get Maddux. They don't have enough propects for both.

Yjey have enough, they just don't want to give any of them up. They're finally getting back to the baseball they played in 96-99. Hustle, fundamental, run manufacturing style that Torre's best known for. They have guys like Cano and Cabrerra that fit into that style along with Jeter. They have the luxury of power in the lineup as well. They want Phillip Hughes to be the Yankee star of the future, and though many teams are scouting (Cashman won't say who's been offering) him every time he pitches.

I mean they don't want to trade their prospect in the majors now and they don't want to trade Philip Hughes. So they aren't going to get both. They may only get one player at the deadline.

I also heard that Maddux may go to the Dodgers. They are the team that has been the most interested in aquiring him. Also if the price of Abreu doesn't become lower the Yankees said they will go to Kansas City to aquire Sanders for a second tier prospect. Sanders would be a solid addition also.

I wouldn't want A-Rod to leave and I highly doubt any team looking to dump payroll would take the 25 million dollar salary of A-Rod.
