I did this a while back on BLB.
There was an article in Baseball Digest a few years back that polled broadcasters around baseball with ten questions about MLB players. They printed some of the answers, and it was pretty entertaining. I will ask ten questions, and all you do is post your answers and elaborate as to why. I wont use the same exact question since some of them were "best dressed" etc. I think I can come up with ten decent questions on my own.
All of these are for current players. You can mention more than one player as well. Feel free to discuss other's answers.
1 - Who is the best base stealer in MLB?
2 - Who has the best outfield arm?
3 - Who has the best infield arm?
4 - Who has the best fastball?
5 - Who has the best curveball?
6 - Who is the most agressive player?
7 - Who has the most pure power in the league?
8 - Who has the sweetest swing?
9 - Who is the best tactical manager?
10 - Who is the most underrated player in MLB?

1 - Who is the best base stealer in MLB? Jose Reyes because he gets on base a lot now and is hardly ever thrown out and he steals in important situations to get into scoring position for Wright, Beltran, and Delgado.
2 - Who has the best outfield arm? Ichiro Suzuki because he can throw people out at home when they try to score on sac flies.
3 - Who has the best infield arm? Alez Rodriguez because he can throw out batters running down the line from third base even when he bobbles the ball a little.
4 - Who has the best fastball? Bobby Jenks because he throws 100 MPH with movement.
5 - Who has the best curveball? Barry Zito because his curveball starts at your eyes and drops into the zone for a strike. It is almost unhittable.
6 - Who is the most agressive player? Vladimir Guerrero because he swings at basically everything he sees and hits it a mile.
7 - Who has the most pure power in the league? Ryan Howard because he just crushes the ball the when he hits it. He can hit the ball into the upper deck of most stadiums.
8 - Who has the sweetest swing? David Wright because his swing has allowed him to drive in many runs and he almost always hits a line drive.
9 - Who is the best tactical manager? Joe Torre because despite all the injuries and problems the Yankees have had this year with pitching Torre has been able to keep his team right behind the Red Sox all season long.
10 - Who is the most underrated player in MLB? Michael Young because prior to winning the All-Star Game MVP most people didn't know who he was despite hitting over .300 this year and winning the batting title last year.

1 - Who is the best base stealer in MLB? In my opinion, it's Carl Crawford. That kid has amazing speed and insticts. Reyes is alot better this year that Rickey Henderson has been working with him.
2 - Who has the best outfield arm? Vlad Guerrero has the strongest arm, but I think Ichiro has the best all around arm. He is extremely accurate.
3 - Who has the best infield arm? Uribe has a cannon at short, Rolen (when healthy) has the best arm at third.
4 - Who has the best fastball? Jenks' is pretty good, Rivera's has the best movement, Clemens is the most accurate with speed. If Kerry Wood would learn some Machanics and stay healthy his would be the best.
5 - Who has the best curveball? Zito, no doubt about it.
6 - Who is the most agressive player? There are alot to choose from. Eckstein, Freel, Guerrero, Reyes, but I'll go with Aaron Rowand.
7 - Who has the most pure power in the league? Adam Dunn, David Ortiz, Travis Hafner, Jason Giambi, Ryan Howard are all names that come to mind. But I'd go with Jim Thome as the best.
8 - Who has the sweetest swing? Right handed it is Pojols, hands down. Left handed I'd go with Hafner.
9 - Who is the best tactical manager? I'd love to say Torre (he is one of the top 5 managers in the league), but I'd still say that Bobby Cox is the best tacticle manager in baseball.
10 - Who is the most underrated player in MLB? Matt Holliday. Look him up, and tell me you knew he was that good.

How's it goin' every one? This is Cubbiefan2827 from BLB... To cut down on "Too many Cubs fans" I decided to got with Notre dame.
1 - Who is the best base stealer in MLB? Juan Pierre... Maybe it is the hometown pride talkin but he is one of the best base stealers and smartest base stealers of all time. in the last 3 years he has more stolen bases than any other active player.
2 - Who has the best outfield arm? Probably Vernon Wells, I am an outfielder also, I only wish I had the cannon he possesses.
3 - Who has the best infield arm? Do catchers count? If so, Pudge Rodriguez He is the best catcher in that last 20 years.
4 - Who has the best fastball? Bobby Jenks is very overpowering and seems to have an effective fastball night after night.
5 - Who has the best curveball? Barry Zito by far. Its amazing how his stuff breaks off the table, good late movement also.
6 - Who is the most agressive player? David Eckstein.. he is the little guy that never gives up, like Rudy.. He plays with a chip on his shoulder, Gotta love it.
7 - Who has the most pure power in the league? Adam Dunn, No doubt. Sometimes the ball just flies off his bat... He is "country strong"
8 - Who has the sweetest swing? Big Papi. He just looks comfortable swinging at an 105 mph fastball in the bottom of the 15 inning in the 7th game of the World Series.
9 - Who is the best tactical manager? Definitely Dusty Baker... No seriously probably Ozzie Guillen he is intense but can still stay friends with his players.
10 - Who is the most underrated player in MLB? Thats a good one... Probably Todd walker. He does the job day in and day out, Hits over .300 and doesn't make errors. Hometown pride?

Anyway, He has alwways been solid for us and he probabally just wasn't feeling it.

Adam Dunn clearly has the most power in the league. The man broke his bat on a missed swing.

That doesn't mean anything. The bat could've been cracked and then broke when he swung.

I'm not saying he isn't powerful. I'm saying him breaking his bat on a swing and miss doesn't mean anything.

I don't think Dye is that underrated. He might not be acknowledged for his defense but he is known for his hitting.
