Answer #6 Small problem. The answer that I have came from a chart that did not have the tie in it. Since I said in the discussion thread that the team I had didn't I accepted multiple answers for this question.
-1916 New York Giants won 26 games, but did tie 1 game. This is the one I was originally looking for.
I also accepted - 1880 Chicago White Stockings (who later became the Cubs)-21 - 1935 Chicago Cubs-21

Answer #9 The Pirates wore this patch in 2001 to honor Willie Stargell who had dies the past April 9th.
It was designed after the "Stagell Stars" that were awarded to Pirate players from 1979 untill Stargell retired. They were given out by Stargell for on-feild accomplishments and were worn on thier caps, similar to what some college football teams do.
