Macha is gone. Apparently several players went to the front office to complain.

Yeah apparently they didn't have a problem with him they just wanted someone new in there. Not sure what that means.

Well the Marlins appointed Atlanta 3rd base coach Fredi Gonzalez. Not to familiar with him, but I don't see him having a long shelf life in florida either giving the front office's committment to winning.

It wasn't fracona's fault. Too many injuries, lots of guys having off years. They should give him a few years if only because he won them a world series. Of course, most boston fans will never be happy.

I think Alou is done, he's getting up there in years. What do you see happening to Robinson? Do you think he's done or will he catch on somewhere?
I see Girardi either to the Cubs or Giants. Dusty to the Nats.

I don't know if Wang is up there yet. Overall I'd either go with Mantle or Ruth.

How about Johnny Pesky. The right foul pole is named after him and he is incredibly popular even today in Boston.

Cal, by far the most popular player. He could be mayor of baltimore if he wanted. Played ball pretty well too.
