I don't know if anyone has been collecting these, but if you are a collecter, then I highly recommend them.
2005 comes complete with a tin box that has pictures of guys like Gherig, Jeter, Walter Johnson, Honus Wagner, etc on the lid. Inside is a flat tin with another popular players impression on it. Then, there are 20 cards which include 2 materials cards, an autograph, around 10 Old Judge cards, and 10 regular cards.
So far I've collected: Tins Ty Cobb Walter Johnson Honus Wagner Derek Jeter
Signs Vlad Matsui Schilling Gherig
Autos Ryan Howard (OJ) Dwight Gooden (OJ) Victor Martinez (OJ) Travis Hafner
Materials Carlos Beltran (OJ) Miguel Cabrera (OJ) Torii Hunter Todd Helton David Ortiz Albert Pujols Albert Pujols (OJ) Frank Thomas (OJ)
SN Jim Thome 83/99 Bobby Doerr 21/99 Khalil Greene 13/50 Alfonso Soriano 24/99 Mike Piazza 43/50 (OJ) Ben Sheets 25/50 (OJ) Ichiro 1/1 (OJ)
Then there's a bunch of regular cards that include HOFers and current players. It's a real good looking set.
I'll post some photos of them, but they are on ebay pretty often too. They are really good looking cards

I'm throwing this out to the community. I've offered to buy BLB, but I doubt it will happen. I know umis was working on a baseball sim, but I haven't heard anything about it recently. I am extremely interested in having a baseball related game or two for diamond pages. I don't know the details yet, but will listen to any suggestions that anyone might have.

Thanks for putting that together Jim, my 4 sons and I were all huddled around the computer watching it. Such an inspiring story

It didn't work. Said that it was on another computer, and I needed to connect to the network?

Sounds like a worthwhile effort. I can't say I quit because of them, but they sure ruined the fun that CM once was.
