I know a few of you disagree with the WC aspect of baseball. Probably mostly because your squad gets whooped by the lowly fish or something ;D, but this is going to be interesting for the rest of the season.
Reds are holding strong, but have quite a few with St Louis coming up. There last two weeks are the Cubs and Pirates with Florida in between though.
The Phils are at the Mets right now, but then they have a reasonable schedule unlike last season when they made their run against a very difficult end of the season schedule.
The Pads? Their schedule is similar to the Reds.
The other three are players, but they have a serious uphill battle. The top three are hot right now, and will probably not slow down all at once, if at all.

The Padres will win the NL West. The Phillies will win the Wildcard.

The Padres will win the NL West. The Phillies will win the Wildcard. not if charlie manuel has anything to do with it, he might not hit, throw, run, catch, but why oh why does he keep his pitchers in too long. he's done it time and time again, relievers that come in the 7th & 8th innings don't get to give up 2 & 3 baserunners and still be in there trying to get out of the jam.

Yeah, the whole Madson mess was unreal last night. So what if Fabio is young, he's getting it done, and should of had a chance last night. What can you do!

The best of it is, we've found atleast 4 future superstars this year (pending health of course). Hamels, Utley, and possibly Victorino could really add to the future of Philly.

i agree, with rollins in that group that's a nice nucleus. if they find a really good defensive 3rd baseman who hits .270, 20-25 hr, 80 rbi we'd be set. i've been watching phillies for 37yrs and victorrino is the fastest phil i ever seen.(bob dernier included)

Henry, one of the players the Yankees traded for Abreu, can become a 3B if they want him to play 3B because he was SS in the Yankees farm system. He should be a pretty good infielder in the future. He was a first round draft pick a few years ago and is probably a couple years away for the majors but he can be a good infielder if he can reach the potential the Yankees think he has.

Did you see the bullet Victorino shot in the 9th. Damn close! That .270, 20, 80 3B sure sounds like a guy we just traded!

Yeah baby! This is what it's all about. Philly goes Florida, Washington, Florida to finish.
Dodgers go Arizona, Colorado, San Francisco
Who's got it to reach down and win!
