Utley has a 20 game hitting streak.
Now, if the phils could just start winning!

Nunez is the guy that broke up the no-hitter.

Since this has been converted to the young guns thread, I thought I'd mention that Utley is tied for 29th all-time hit streaks. Maybe 22 after tonight.

Delucci wouldn't be too bad. I'm just liking the idea of a young fast team.
Rollins Victorino Utley Howard Delucci Rowand Coste Nunez
It could work.

32 for Utley...
Yeah, pitching will always be a problem in CBP. The odds of us getting a proven Ace to pitch in that nightmare are slim. The best bet is to spend some of that money on a real good pitching coach for the Philidelphia, SWB, and Reading teams. I have a good feeling that Gillick knows what he is doing, and despite this bizzare trading scheme of his, I have a warm fuzzy about what will come out of it.

no doubt, i think he's just freeing up some money to pursue pitching help for next year. sinkerball and cut fastballs pitchers perferably

If you can't keep the ball on the ground, you have no business in CBP.

chris coste is the truth, shame he's 33. lieberthal should not play again this or any year for phils.
