John Ondrasik of the band "Five For Fighting" (Gotta love a band named after a hockey penalty) has compiled a CD that will be free to all military personel with a valid ID. He collected songs from the actual artists who willingly waived their royalty fees to make the CD free. www.cdforthetroops.com/Artists include Billy Joel, Brooks & Dunn, the Goo Goo Dolls, Jewel, Josh Groban, Los Lonely Boys, Melissa Ethridge, the Neville Brothers, Sarah McLachlan, the Lt. Dan Band, Montgomery Gentry, The Fray, and Five For Fighting.

That is a nice thing before the holidays. My ID expired just last month so I don't know if I can still get one.

Mine expired in 1998.
You can try, I guess. Contact AMFEES. It says it's for veterans as well, so maybe they can bend the rules a bit. I might try, but I'll wait and see after the troops get their copies first.

I might be able to get it at the VA too with my VA ID. I will look into it.
