You suck!!!
Why can't you drag those old farts out to a game or two and keep you team there? You deserve to lose your franchise in the same manor as Montreal. You have an exiting young team with unlimited potential, yet you don't show up for games. My only hope is that they miss the playoffs and move out of town. THEN win the division in the new city. You schmucks don't deserve another good team.

Go NATS! It is really a shame....a real shame. After getting a team and the team doing so great (at the beginning) it is really a shame that they'll let it go. They only reason I support the NATS is because I was lucky enough that they moved to my own "backyard." It was a shame that they had to leave Montreal. I'm grateful they came to the DC area......will always support them for the love of the game..........GO NATS!

it is a shame about that, they could have a great team with all that young talent and nobody down there cares. Shoot i go to tri city valley cats games (astros affiliate) just because it's a baseball game.

I would definitely go see a game if a buffet were included. But it has to be a good one.

Now when you say Marlins fans, are you reffering to all 6 of them, or just the 4 that live in Florida?

What a damn shame this is. I hope they do lose their franchise. Here in a little hick town of Roanoke, VA we have a minor league team (Salem Avalance ; Affiliates of the Astros) that get many more fans that go to the games than the MLB team of the Marlins get in 2 or 3 games. That's a shame. Lose the city and move them somewhere where they will get a better turnout. Hopefully they do better there.

I just heard today that, after this trade with the Tigers, the Marlins' payroll is HALF of what they gat in revenue sharing from the luxury tax. So basically, the Yankees and Red Sox pay the Marlins salary, and their owner gets half of it.
Shame.

Send them to AAA!!! That's amazing Jim. That sort of thing just shouldn't be allowed. The economics in baseball aren't ideal, but teams should at least attempt to be competitive.
