Nowadays, they're pretty much the same. Back when I was growing up, Topps were the highest in quality, but Donruss was more valuable due to rarity, and Fleer/Flair had the best error cards. I used to look for Opee-Chee.

really thats surprising because ive been looking for some cards and when i found a site the prices seemed weird to me, topps was always the most expensive and pretty much everything else was the same. I love to collect cards but I don't know much about how valuable they are.
blood will fade, tears will dry, but pride will last forever
Fleer has a bunch of sets that are nice too. The also have Topps Chrome and Bowman Chrome which are really nice looking. Get a Beckett. You have to really decide for yourself what looks best. Nowadays, they are all really nice. If you want to make money, then Beckett is the way to go.
i remeber buying topps at the little park for either .20 or .25. Once they went over 3bucks a pack i seldom buy any .I have a pretty good collection though, You guys remember when joey belle played ? then changed his name to albert because Joey sounded like a white mans name . (from his mouth) and oh i'm partial to donruss
