sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3144472&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlinesThis is a big deal for two reasons. 1. It shows that MLB is willing to punish for infractions in the past. If the Mitchell Report does name names, we could see a lot more of these. 2. It's important for those not included. It's almost impossible to say anything definitive without being able to view the complete case and evidence, but 4 big names also linked to HGH were not punished. It's a good start I think. I'm glad to see there is a little accountability now. But with no test for HGH, it will be hard to catch people without a huge government investigation.

You may also see more people coming forward with confessions to avoid major sanctions. The Giambi effect, so to speak.

Guess I won't be hearing what a great story Ankiel is next season. Jr probably already served his suspension. I'm actually confused why his name is listed. Is this strike three for him? And what's up with Seattle??? they have to have the record for most suspensions for substance
