i think i might've stumped everyone, so here's the answer..... .... Charles H. Getzein (February 14, 1864 - June 19, 1932) was a German starting pitcher in Major League Baseball. who played with the Detroit Wolverines (1884-1888), Indianapolis Hoosiers (1889), Boston Beaneaters (1890-1891[start]), Cleveland Spiders (1891[end]) and St. Louis Browns (1892), all of the National League. He batted and threw right handed. In a nine-season career, Getzein posted a 145-139 record with 1070 strikeouts and a 3.46 ERA in 2539-2/3 innings pitched. Getzein died in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 68. In the 1887 World Series started six games and went 4-2, helping the Detroit Wolverines to win the championship over the St. Louis Browns ten games to five. Averaged 23.8 wins between 1886 and 1890, with a career-high 30 wins in 1886. Pitched a no-hitter on October 1, 1884 against the Philadelphia Phillies. Nicknamed Pretzels or Pretzel Twirler Commonly misspelled Getzien
